Susan Bullock, Charles Edwards, Keith Warner, Tash Siddiqui, A Director Prepares: A Roundtable in the Rehearsal Room

The idea for this roundtable came to me while Keith Warner and Charles Edwards were discussing their approaches to Wagner directing and acting at a social gathering. It was a revelation to hear experienced professionals talk amongst themselves, as it were – a glimpse deep behind the scenes, in the rehearsal room, at the directors’ coalface – not to mention a refreshing change to the conversational paths usually pursued when the talk turns to Wagner directing.
